As of 1/1/2018, THZ Insurance has started the process of becoming paperless!
This project has been in our minds for the last several years and, in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint and provide more secure data storage for our client information, the staff at THZ Insurance decided at the beginning of this year that we were going to make it a priority for 2018 to start the ‘paperless’ transition. In order to achieve this goal, we had to determine where to start and who we were going to rely on to review and scan all the documents.
With the help of local co-op students from Seymour High School, we decided to start with the files for our personal line business and then move to our commercial lines. This was a large undertaking as we had many files dating back over 7 years and files located in both offices.
We are proud to say we have already achieved our goal at in our Appleton office and have been working diligently to complete phase one of going paperless in the Seymour office as well. Based on our calculations, we expect all personal line files will be electronic as of the end of this year!
Current Customers: Many of our commercial line carriers are also working toward this same goal and have started implementing electronic policy documents for renewals and changes.
